Alyssa is a Colorado-based Registered Dietitian with over 12 years of experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Dietetics at The Ohio State University, and later went on to complete specialized training in functional nutrition, food sensitivities, and gut health. Prior to starting her private practice, she worked in a variety of clinical settings including the ICU at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, the Heart & Vascular Institute at West Virginia University Hospitals, and St. John Providence Health System.
In addition to her extensive professional experience, Alyssa brings a unique perspective to her role as a healthcare professional. Personally living with a rare chronic illness, she understands firsthand the challenges and complexities that her patients face on their health journeys. This experience has fostered a deep sense of empathy and compassion within Alyssa, enabling her to provide exceptional care and support to patients who are desperate for answers. She strives to empower people to improve their health and quality of life despite the obstacles they may encounter.
